When Sherryl went to get her shot today (a shot that fortifies her blood in conjunction with chemotherapy treatment), the nurse routinely took her temperature and it was 100.4. While Sherryl would not typically be concerned about a semi-low grade fever, health care providers take seriously abnormal temperatures in cancer patients. Sherryl's temperature was taken again after her shot, and it was 100.8.
Tonight, Sherryl's temperature is 102.6. Her doctor has prescribed an antibiotic, which she'll begin tomorrow. She tells us she felt cold yesterday and that she feels a bit achy today. This news is a set-back and Sherryl is disappointed that the day has not been a fun one.
Please continue to send prayers and wishes of wellness to Sherryl so this fever goes away immediately. Thank you so much.
