Sherryl's doctors have decided to administer more chemotherapy to Sherryl on Thursday since her system has responded well to the first dose. Surgery to insert the small catheter in her back is still pending at this time. She began physical therapy (PT) today and, because her blood pressure is a bit low, caregivers are being conservative to ensure there is no risk of her losing her balance and/or falling during PT treatments.
Although her blood pressure is a bit low, Sherryl is experiencing no dizziness. She tells us she knows when the time-released pain medication has had a surge because she gets that "cotton mouth" feeling from time to time throughout the day.
She also tells us she misses seeing her friends and asked Richard to bring to the hospital her address book. Hmmm. If Sherryl begins to feel much better, we'll be sure to alert the hospital to increase the minutes per month on their phone plan.
